Where can I find the eSIM installation instructions in the Airalo app?
You can find all the instructions to install your eSIM by doing the following.
- Abre la aplicación de Airalo.
- Go to My eSIMs and select your eSIM.
- Go to the section "Ready to use your eSIM?"
- Select Install or share.
To use the QR code, select View other options and scan the QR code from another device. You can also share the QR code.
Why can't I find the installation instructions after I install my eSIM?
When Airalo detects your eSIM is installed, the instructions to add the eSIM may no longer be visible in the app — you will see the "How to connect" section instead so you can connect to a network and use your eSIM.
If you need to reference the installation instructions for any reason, you can reference the installation instructions PDF attached to your order confirmation or eSIM delivered email.
Cómo instalar una eSIM mediante código QR en iOS
- Abre los Ajustes en tu dispositivo
- Pulsa Móvil (o Datos móviles)
- Pulsa Añadir eSIM (o Añadir Plan de datos móviles)
- Pulsa Usar código QR
- Escanea o selecciona el código QR guardado en tus Fotos
- Pulsa Continuar dos veces
- Espera unos minutos a que se active tu eSIM y luego pulsa Listo
- Elige una etiqueta para tu eSIM (por ejemplo, «Airalo»)
- En las páginas de Línea por omisión:
- Selecciona tu línea principal para llamadas y SMS
- Selecciona tu línea principal para iMessage y FaceTime
- Selecciona tu eSIM de Airalo para Datos móviles
- Asegúrate de desactivar la opción Permitir cambio de datos móviles
*Si tu eSIM admite llamadas y SMS además de datos, puedes seleccionarla para llamadas y SMS.
Cómo conectarse a los datos móviles
- Abre los Ajustes > Móvil (o Ajustes > Datos móviles)
- Pulsa tu plan eSIM
- Habilita Activar esta línea si no está habilitada
- Activa la Itinerancia de datos (si fuera necesario. Consulta las instrucciones de eSIM en la aplicación de Airalo)
- Ve a Datos móviles y selecciona tu eSIM de Airalo como línea de datos
- Tu eSIM debería conectarse automáticamente a una red móvil compatible
