Where can I find the eSIM installation instructions in the Airalo app?
You can find all the instructions to install your eSIM by doing the following.
- Abre la aplicación de Airalo.
- Go to My eSIMs and select your eSIM.
- Go to the section "Ready to use your eSIM?"
- Select Install or share.
To view the manual instructions, select View other options then View instructions under Manual instrutions.
Why can't I find the installation instructions after I install my eSIM?
When Airalo detects your eSIM is installed, the instructions to add the eSIM may no longer be visible in the app — you will see the "How to connect" section instead so you can connect to a network and use your eSIM.
If you need to reference the installation instructions for any reason, you can reference the installation instructions PDF attached to your order confirmation or eSIM delivered email.
¿Cómo instalar una eSIM manualmente en iOS?
- Abre los Ajustes
- Selecciona Móvil (o Datos móviles)
- Selecciona Añadir eSIM (o Añadir Plan de datos móviles)
- Selecciona Usar código QR, y luego selecciona Introducir los datos manualmente
- Introduce la dirección SM-DP+, código de activación y código de confirmación (si se ha proporcionado)
- Selecciona Siguiente, y luego selecciona Continuar dos veces
- Espera unos minutos a que se active tu eSIM y luego selecciona Listo
- Elige una etiqueta para tu eSIM (por ejemplo, «Airalo»)
- En las páginas de Línea por omisión:
- Selecciona tu línea principal para llamadas y SMS
- Selecciona tu línea principal para iMessage y FaceTime
- Selecciona tu eSIM de Airalo para Datos móviles
- Asegúrate de desactivar la opción Permitir cambio de datos móviles
*Si tu eSIM admite llamadas y SMS además de datos, puedes seleccionarla para llamadas y SMS.
Cómo conectarse a una red
- Go to Settings > Cellular and select your new eSIM.
- Enable Turn On This Line.
- Go to Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data > and select your new eSIM, if not selected.
- Disable Allow Cellular Data Switching.
- Go to Settings > Cellular > Default Voice Line and select your new eSIM for calls and SMS (if your package includes calls and texts).
- Go to Settings > Cellular and select your new eSIM.
- Select Network Selection and disable Automatic.
- Selecciona la red de la eSIM (consulta «Red»); podría tardar unos segundos en aparecer.
- Go to Settings > Cellular > and select your new eSIM.
- Select Cellular Data Network and enter the APN into all the APN fields for your new eSIM (if required).
- Enable Data Roaming for your new eSIM (if required).
- Turn Airplane Mode on and off.
