Stelle vor der Installation sicher, dass dein Gerät:
- Unterstützt eSIMs (siehe Welche Geräte unterstützen eSIM? oder Wie kann ich überprüfen, ob mein iOS-Gerät eSIM unterstützt?)
- vom Netzbetreiber freigeschaltet ist
- eine stabile Internetverbindung hat (vorzugsweise WLAN)
Wie bereite ich mich vor der Installation einer eSIM vor?
- Melde dich bei deinem Airalo-Konto an
- Geh zu Meine eSIMs
- Wähle die eSIM, die du installieren möchtest
- Select Install or share
- Select Start installation
You can also select View details for your eSIM to access the installation instructions.
Why can't I find the installation instructions after I install my eSIM?
When Airalo detects your eSIM is installed, the instructions to add the eSIM may no longer be visible in the app — you will see the "How to connect" section instead so you can connect to a network and use your eSIM.
If you need to reference the installation instructions for any reason, you can reference the installation instructions PDF attached to your order confirmation or eSIM delivered email.
So installierst du eine eSIM direkt auf iOS
- Select Start installation > Continue until the activation starts — allow the eSIM to activate, if asked.
- Warte, während die eSIM aktiviert wird (beende den Vorgang nicht – dies kann einige Minuten dauern).
- Select Done, when prompted — next, you’ll set up your eSIM.
*Falls deine eSIM neben Daten auch Anrufe und SMS unterstützt, kannst du sie für Anrufe und SMS auswählen.
Nach Abschluss dieser Schritte erhältst du eine Bestätigung, dass deine eSIM erfolgreich installiert wurde.
So verbindest du dich mit einem Netzwerk
- Geh zu "Einstellungen" > "Mobilfunk" und wähle deine neue eSIM.
- Aktiviere "Diese Leitung einschalten".
- Geh zu "Einstellungen" > "Mobilfunk" > "Mobilfunkdaten" und wähle ggfs. deine neue eSIM aus.
- Deaktiviere "Wechseln mobiler Daten erlauben".
- Go to Settings > Cellular > Default Voice Line and select your new eSIM for calls and SMS (if your package includes calls and texts).
- Geh zu "Einstellungen" > "Mobilfunk" und wähle deine neue eSIM.
- Wähle "Netzwerkauswahl" und deaktiviere "Automatisch".
- Wähle das Netzwerk der eSIM (siehe "Netzwerk") – es kann einen Moment dauern, bis es erscheint.
- Geh zu "Einstellungen" > "Mobilfunk" und wähle deine neue eSIM.
- Select Cellular Data Network and enter the APN into all the APN fields for your new eSIM (if required).
- Enable Data Roaming for your new eSIM (if required).
- Schalte den Flugmodus ein und aus.
