Where can I find the eSIM installation instructions in the Airalo app?
You can find all the instructions to install your eSIM by doing the following.
- Open the Airalo app.
- Go to My eSIMs and select your eSIM.
- Go to the section "Ready to use your eSIM?"
- Select Install or share.
To view the manual instructions, select View other options then View instructions under Manual instrutions.
Why can't I find the installation instructions after I install my eSIM?
When Airalo detects your eSIM is installed, the instructions to add the eSIM may no longer be visible in the app — you will see the "How to connect" section instead so you can connect to a network and use your eSIM.
If you need to reference the installation instructions for any reason, you can reference the installation instructions PDF attached to your order confirmation or eSIM delivered email.
How to install an eSIM manually on iOS?
- Åpne Innstillinger
- Trykk på Mobil (eller Mobildata)
- Velg Legg til eSIM (eller Legg til mobildataabonnement)
- Velg Bruk QR-kode og deretter Skriv inn informasjon manuelt
- Skriv SM-DP+-adresse, aktiveringskode og bekreftelseskode (hvis oppgitt)
- Velg Neste og deretter velg Fortsett to ganger
- Vent noen minutter til eSIM er aktivert, og velg deretter Ferdig
- Velg en etikett for eSIM (f.eks. «Airalo»)
- På sidene til standardlinjen:
- Velg primærlinje for anrop og SMS
- Velg primærlinje for iMessage og FaceTime
- Velg Airalo eSIM for mobildata
- Sørg for at Tillat bytting av mobildata er slått AV
*Hvis eSIM-kortet støtter samtaler og tekstmeldinger i tillegg til data, kan du velge å bruke det til samtaler og SMS.
Slik kobler du til et nettverk
- Go to Settings > Cellular and select your new eSIM.
- Enable Turn On This Line.
- Go to Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data > and select your new eSIM, if not selected.
- Disable Allow Cellular Data Switching.
- Go to Settings > Cellular > Default Voice Line and select your new eSIM for calls and SMS (if your package includes calls and texts).
- Go to Settings > Cellular and select your new eSIM.
- Select Network Selection and disable Automatic.
- Velg nettverk for eSIM (se «Nettverk») – det kan ta en stund før det vises.
- Go to Settings > Cellular > and select your new eSIM.
- Select Cellular Data Network and enter the APN into all the APN fields for your new eSIM (if required).
- Enable Data Roaming for your new eSIM (if required).
- Turn Airplane Mode on and off.
