Where can I find the eSIM installation instructions in the Airalo app?
You can find all the instructions to install your eSIM by doing the following.
- Apri l’app Airalo.
- Go to My eSIMs and select your eSIM.
- Go to the section "Ready to use your eSIM?"
- Select Install or share.
To view the manual instructions, select View other options then View instructions under Manual instrutions.
Why can't I find the installation instructions after I install my eSIM?
When Airalo detects your eSIM is installed, the instructions to add the eSIM may no longer be visible in the app — you will see the "How to connect" section instead so you can connect to a network and use your eSIM.
If you need to reference the installation instructions for any reason, you can reference the installation instructions PDF attached to your order confirmation or eSIM delivered email.
Come installare un'eSIM manualmente su iOS?
- Apri Impostazioni
- Seleziona Cellulare (o Dati cellulare)
- Seleziona Aggiungi eSIM (oAggiungi piano dati cellulare/mobile)
- Seleziona Usa codice QR, quindi seleziona Inserisci i dati manualmente
- Inserisci l'indirizzo SM-DP+, il codice di attivazione e il codice di conferma (se fornito)
- Seleziona Avanti, quindi seleziona Continua due volte
- Attendi qualche minuto affinché la tua eSIM si attivi, quindi seleziona Fine
- Scegli un'etichetta per la tua eSIM (ad esempio, "Airalo")
- Nella pagina Linea predefinita:
- Seleziona la tua linea principale per chiamate e SMS
- Seleziona la tua linea principale per iMessage e FaceTime
- Seleziona la tua eSIM Airalo per dati cellulare/mobili
- Assicurati che l'opzione Consenti cambio dati cellulare sia disattivata
*Se la tua eSIM supporta chiamate e SMS oltre ai dati, puoi selezionarla per chiamate e SMS.
Come connettersi a una rete
- Go to Settings > Cellular and select your new eSIM.
- Enable Turn On This Line.
- Go to Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data > and select your new eSIM, if not selected.
- Disable Allow Cellular Data Switching.
- Go to Settings > Cellular > Default Voice Line and select your new eSIM for calls and SMS (if your package includes calls and texts).
- Go to Settings > Cellular and select your new eSIM.
- Select Network Selection and disable Automatic.
- Seleziona la rete dell'eSIM (vedi "Rete"): potrebbe volerci qualche istante prima che venga visualizzata.
- Go to Settings > Cellular > and select your new eSIM.
- Select Cellular Data Network and enter the APN into all the APN fields for your new eSIM (if required).
- Enable Data Roaming for your new eSIM (if required).
- Turn Airplane Mode on and off.
