Android端末にeSIMをインストールしてセットアップするには？

インストールする前に、お使いの端末で以下の点をご確認ください。

お使いの端末がeSIMに対応しており、ネットワークがロック解除されている。（「どの端末がeSIMに対応していますか？」と「自分のAndroid端末がeSIMに対応していることを確認するには？」をご覧ください）
安定したインターネット接続がある（WiFi推奨）。（eSIMを端末に正しくダウンロードする必要があり、安定したインターネット接続は必須です）

エラロアプリでeSIMのインストール手順を確認するには？

以下の手順で、eSIMのインストール手順をご覧ください。

Airaloアプリを開きます。
My eSIMに移動し、ご利用のeSIMを選択します。
「詳細を表示」をタップする
Go to the section Ready to use your eSIM?
インストールまたは共有を選択します。

To view the manual installation instructions and QR code, select Share and more, or start the installation directly by clicking on Start installation.

Most eSIM validity periods start only when the eSIM connects to a mobile network in its coverage area. So installing early usually won’t cause you to lose plan days. In some rare cases, validity may begin at installation, so it’s a good idea to check eSIM's validity policy by selecting Package details before or after purchase.

eSIMをAndroid端末に直接インストールするには？

一部のAndroidモデルでは、エラロアプリからのダイレクトインストールに対応しています。 If available:

エラロアプリを開く
My eSIMに移動し、ご利用のeSIMを選択する
「詳細を表示」を選択する
Scroll down to find Ready to use your eSIM → Install your eSIM.
Tap Install or share
Tap Start installation
Allow the eSIM to activate if asked. If additional steps appear on your screen, simply follow the instructions shown.
eSIMがアクティベートされるまで数分待つ.
これらの手順が完了すると、eSIMが正常にインストールされたことを示す確認画面が表示されます。
Slide to Continue
A pop-up may appear asking you to enable data roaming for your eSIM (if required). If it does, enable it and Slide to continue.
Another pop-up will ask if you’re already at your destination.
- If you are in the destination country, tap Get Connected to check the steps to connect to your network.
- If you haven’t arrived yet, tap Connect Later.

The installation didn’t go as planned? No worries — we're here to help.

If this happens, simply tap "View options" to access our self-service tools. Depending on the situation, you will be able to:

Automated Replacement: Quickly replace your eSIM profile.
Automated Refund: Process a refund for your purchase if the issue cannot be resolved.
Escalation to Support: Connect directly with our support team for assistance.

eSIMをQRコード経由でAndroid端末にインストールするには？

エラロアプリで、QRコードのオプションを選ぶ（他の端末と共有または印刷もできます）
端末で「設定」を開く
「ネットワークとインターネット」を選択する
「モバイルネットワークを追加」（または「eSIMを追加」）を選択する
「SIMカードをお持ちではありませんか？」と表示されたら「次へ」を選択する
QRコードをスキャンし、確認コードを求められた場合は入力する
「モバイルネットワーク」に戻り、eSIMをオンにする
「モバイルデータ通信」を有効にする
「データローミング」を有効にする（海外にいる場合はローミング料金を避けるため、主回線をオフにしてください）
必要に応じて、エラロアプリの情報を使ってAPN（アクセスポイント名）を設定する

eSIMを手動でAndroid端末にインストールするには？

エラロアプリで、「手動」オプションを選ぶ
SM-DP+ アドレスとアクティベーションコード（および利用できる場合は確認コード）をコピーする
端末で「設定」を開く
「ネットワークとインターネット」を選択する
「モバイルネットワークを追加」（または「eSIMを追加」）を選択する
「SIMカードをお持ちではありませんか？」と表示されたら「次へ」を選択する
「コードを手動で入力」を選択し、エラロアプリに表示されたSM-DP+ アドレスとアクティベーションコードを入力する
「モバイルネットワーク」に戻り、eSIMをオンにする
「モバイルデータ通信」を有効にする
「データローミング」を有効にする（海外にいる場合はローミング料金を避けるため、主回線をオフにしてください）
必要に応じて、エラロアプリの情報を使ってAPN（アクセスポイント名）を設定する

重要なアドバイス:

Once your eSIM is installed via Direct, QR Code, or Manual, you can find the connection settings by opening the same eSIM in the Airalo app. Navigate to My eSIMs → Your eSIM → View details → Ready to use your eSIM → Connect to a network → How to connect.

インストール後の対応は？

インストール後、eSIMをデータ通信に選択すると、対応するモバイルネットワークに自動的に接続されます。

eSIMのインストール後にインストール手順が表示されなくなる理由

エラロによってeSIMのインストールが検出されると、eSIMの追加手順がアプリ内に表示されなくなる場合があります。その代わり、「接続方法」セクションが表示されるため、ネットワークに接続してeSIMを使えるようになります。

何らかの理由でインストール手順を参照する必要がある場合は、メールで届くご注文の確認書またはeSIMの発行メールに添付されたインストール手順のPDFファイルをご覧ください。

Understanding your eSIM status: Installed vs. In Use

You can track your setup progress directly in the Airalo app by going to My eSIMs, selecting your eSIM, and tapping View details. Depending on your setup stage, you may see one of these statuses:

Installed: The eSIM profile has been successfully downloaded and configured on your device.
In Use: The eSIM has successfully connected to a mobile network and initiated a data session.

Note: In most cases, you can see these status updates in the app. However, please note that status visibility may vary depending on your specific eSIM

If you do not see a status, do not worry — simply check if your eSIM appears in your device’s Settings. If it is there, head over to the "How to connect" section in the app / and follow the steps to get connected at your destination.
