Where can I find the eSIM installation instructions in the Airalo app?
You can find all the instructions to install your eSIM by doing the following.
- Open the Airalo app.
- Go to My eSIMs and select your eSIM.
- Go to the section "Ready to use your eSIM?"
- Select Install or share.
To view the manual instructions, select View other options then View instructions under Manual instrutions.
Why can't I find the installation instructions after I install my eSIM?
When Airalo detects your eSIM is installed, the instructions to add the eSIM may no longer be visible in the app — you will see the "How to connect" section instead so you can connect to a network and use your eSIM.
If you need to reference the installation instructions for any reason, you can reference the installation instructions PDF attached to your order confirmation or eSIM delivered email.
How to install an eSIM manually on iOS?
- Otvorte Nastavenia
- Vyberte položku Mobilná sieť (alebo Mobilné dáta)
- Vyberte možnosť Pridať eSIM (alebo Pridať tarifu pre mobilnú sieť/Mobilné dáta)
- Vyberte možnosť Použiť QR kód, potom vyberte možnosť Zadať údaje ručne
- Zadajte adresu SM-DP+, aktivačný kód a potvrdzovací kód (ak sú uvedené)
- Vyberte možnosť Ďalej, potom dvakrát Pokračovať
- Počkajte pár minút, kým sa vaša eSIM aktivuje, potom vyberte možnosť Hotovo
- Zvoľte si menovku pre svoju eSIM (napr. „Airalo“)
- Na stránke Predvolená linka:
- Vyberte svoju Primárnu linku pre hovory a SMS
- Vyberte svoju Primárnu linku pre iMessage a FaceTime
- Vyberte svoju eSIM od Airalo pre položku Mobilná sieť/Mobilné dáta
- Uistite sa, že je možnosť Povoliť prepínanie mobilných dát vypnutá
* Ak vaša eSIM okrem dát podporuje aj hovory a SMS správy, môžete si ju vybrať pre hovory a SMS správy.
Ako na pripojenie k sieti
- Go to Settings > Cellular and select your new eSIM.
- Enable Turn On This Line.
- Go to Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data > and select your new eSIM, if not selected.
- Disable Allow Cellular Data Switching.
- Go to Settings > Cellular > Default Voice Line and select your new eSIM for calls and SMS (if your package includes calls and texts).
- Go to Settings > Cellular and select your new eSIM.
- Select Network Selection and disable Automatic.
- Vyberte sieť eSIM (viď položka „Sieť“) – jej zobrazenie môže chvíľu trvať.
- Go to Settings > Cellular > and select your new eSIM.
- Select Cellular Data Network and enter the APN into all the APN fields for your new eSIM (if required).
- Enable Data Roaming for your new eSIM (if required).
- Turn Airplane Mode on and off.
