Controleer voordat je begint met installeren of je apparaat:
- eSIM's ondersteunt (zie Welke apparaten ondersteunen eSIM's? of Hoe controleer ik of mijn iOS-apparaat eSIM's ondersteunt?)
- simlockvrij is
- over een stabiele internetverbinding beschikt (bij voorkeur wifi)
Het installeren van een eSIM voorbereiden
- Log in op je Airalo-account
- Ga naar Mijn eSIM's
- Selecteer de eSIM die je wilt installeren
- Select Install or share
- Select Start installation
You can also select View details for your eSIM to access the installation instructions.
Why can't I find the installation instructions after I install my eSIM?
When Airalo detects your eSIM is installed, the instructions to add the eSIM may no longer be visible in the app — you will see the "How to connect" section instead so you can connect to a network and use your eSIM.
If you need to reference the installation instructions for any reason, you can reference the installation instructions PDF attached to your order confirmation or eSIM delivered email.
Een eSIM direct installeren voor iOS
- Select Start installation > Continue until the activation starts — allow the eSIM to activate, if asked.
- Wacht terwijl de eSIM wordt geactiveerd (sluit het proces niet af, het kan een paar minuten duren).
- Select Done, when prompted — next, you’ll set up your eSIM.
*Als je eSIM naast data ook bellen en sms'en ondersteunt, kun je deze selecteren voor oproepen en sms-berichten.
Na het voltooien van deze stappen zie je een bevestiging dat je eSIM geïnstalleerd is.
Verbinding maken met een netwerk
- Ga naar Instellingen > Mobiele data en selecteer je nieuwe eSIM.
- Schakel "Schakel deze lijn in" in.
- Ga naar Instellingen > Mobiel > Mobiele data en selecteer je nieuwe eSIM als deze nog niet geselecteerd is.
- Schakel Overschakelen naar mobiele data toestaan uit.
- Go to Settings > Cellular > Default Voice Line and select your new eSIM for calls and SMS (if your package includes calls and texts).
- Ga naar Instellingen > Mobiele data en selecteer je nieuwe eSIM.
- Selecteer Netwerkselectie en schakel Automatisch uit.
- Selecteer het netwerk van de eSIM (zie "Netwerk"). Het kan even duren voor het verschijnt.
- Ga naar Instellingen > Mobiel en selecteer je nieuwe eSIM.
- Select Cellular Data Network and enter the APN into all the APN fields for your new eSIM (if required).
- Enable Data Roaming for your new eSIM (if required).
- Schakel de vliegtuigmodus in en uit.
