• over een stabiele internetverbinding beschikt (bij voorkeur wifi)

Where can I find the eSIM installation instructions in the Airalo app?

You can find all the instructions to install your eSIM by doing the following.

1. Open the Airalo app.
2. Go to My eSIMs and select your eSIM.
3. Go to the section "Ready to use your eSIM?"
4. Select Install or share.

To use the QR code, select View other options and scan the QR code from another device. You can also share the QR code.

Why can't I find the installation instructions after I install my eSIM?

When Airalo detects your eSIM is installed, the instructions to add the eSIM may no longer be visible in the app — you will see the "How to connect" section instead so you can connect to a network and use your eSIM.

If you need to reference the installation instructions for any reason, you can reference the installation instructions PDF attached to your order confirmation or eSIM delivered email.

Een eSIM installeren via een QR-code op iOS

1. Open Instellingen op je apparaat
2. Tik op Mobiel (of Mobiele data)
3. Selecteer eSIM toevoegen (of Mobiel abonnement/Mobiele data-abonnement toevoegen)
4. Tik op Gebruik QR-code
5. Scan of selecteer de opgeslagen QR-code uit je Foto's
6. Tik tweemaal op Doorgaan
7. Wacht een paar minuten totdat je eSIM geactiveerd is en tik dan op Gereed
8. Kies een label voor je eSIM (bijv. “Airalo”)
9. Op de pagina's Standaardlijn:
   • Selecteer je primaire lijn voor oproepen en sms-berichten
   • Selecteer je primaire lijn voor iMessage en FaceTime
   • Selecteer je Airalo-eSIM voor Mobiel/Mobiele data
10. Controleer of Overschakelen naar mobiele gegevens toestaan is UITGESCHAKELD

*Als je eSIM naast data ook bellen en sms'en ondersteunt, kun je deze selecteren voor oproepen en sms-berichten.

Koppelen aan mobiele data

1. Open Instellingen > Mobiel (of Instellingen > Mobiele data)
2. Tik op je eSIM-abonnement
3. Schakel Schakel deze lijn in in als deze niet is ingeschakeld
4. Schakel Dataroaming AAN in (indien nodig - controleer de instructies voor je eSIM in de Airalo-app)
5. Ga naar Mobiel/Mobiele data en selecteer je Airalo-eSIM als de lijn voor data
6. Je eSIM zou automatisch verbinding moeten maken met een ondersteund mobiel netwerk
