How does Airalo use my location?

As an Airalo user, you have the option to share your location with Airalo — you can turn location permissions on and off at any time.

When enabled, Airalo uses your location to provide timely and relevant messages that improve your experience purchasing and using eSIMs. When disabled, Airalo does not use or track your location at all.

What notifications will I receive when I share my location with Airalo?

Airalo uses your location to send timely and relevant messages, including:

  • Welcome messages: When you travel to a new country, Airalo sends a message to confirm your arrival at your destination.
  • Promotional offers: Some promotions apply to specific regions, so you may receive discounts based on your location.
  • Reminders: At certain travel hubs (like airports), Airalo may remind you to purchase an eSIM for an upcoming trip.
  • Support messages: Some support issues may depend on your location, helping our team troubleshoot faster.

Please note that some of these messages require you to always share your location with Airalo.
