I can’t connect to the internet with my eSIM (Android)

Please make sure to check the required settings for your eSIM.

If turning on the data roaming is required you should turn it on before you proceed. This information can be found at the bottom of your Direct/QR Code/Manual eSIM installation page. My eSIMs > Details > Install eSIM > scroll to the bottom of Direct/QR Code/Manual eSIM installation page.

To turn on data roaming:

  1. Go to Settings on your device
  2. Go to Mobile Network
  3. Tap on your eSIM
  4. Make sure Roaming is set to ON.

The same applies to the APN settings. please check if you are required to set the APN for your eSIM to work.

This information can be found at the bottom of your Direct/QR Code/Manual eSIM installation page. My eSIMs > Details > Install eSIM > scroll to the bottom of Direct/QR Code/Manual eSIM installation page.

In the event that your eSIM’s APN settings are available, you will need to create a new Access Point Name (APN) settings to access data by following the steps below:

  1. Go to Settings on your device
  2. Go to the Network & Internet section
  3. Go to Mobile Networks
  4. Go to Access Point Names
  5. Type “+” or “ADD”
  6. Type the new APN settings as written in the eSIM installation details under APN (all lower case, all one word)
  7. Tap save
  8. Leave the other fields blank
