Offline mode helps you access your steps to connect to a network even when you don’t have an internet connection — perfect for moments like landing in a new country with no service.

How does offline mode work?

If the app detects that you’re offline, the offline mode screen will automatically appear. You can retry your connection or continue to offline mode.

When in offline mode, you can access the steps to connect to a network with your eSIM — like APN settings and roaming instructions .

Note, offline mode is available only in the Airalo mobile app — not on the website.

When can I access offline mode?

• You can only use offline mode if you’ve already purchased and installed an eSIM.
• You need an internet connection to install an eSIM — offline mode is only for reviewing the steps to connect to a network.
• If no eSIM is installed, you won't be able to access offline mode.
• If you’re unable to get online after installation, offline mode provides the instructions you need to finish activating your eSIM.
• Once you have an internet connection again, you can re-open the app to use it normally.
